Schedule: Monday through Saturday
Shift: 10-hour daytime shifts
Hours: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Pay: $16.50 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience
Staff Requirement: Female staff only for this specific assignment due to client-specific privacy, comfort, and support needs.
Job Summary
We are hiring two experienced, dependable female staff to provide one-on-one support to an individual in their home. These positions are for daytime shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
Staff will support the individual with daily routines, skill-building, safety, independence, and goals listed in the person’s support plan. Staff must be professional, respectful, reliable, and able to follow company policies and training requirements.
This position takes place in a private family home. Staff must be respectful of the home environment, maintain confidentiality, and follow professional boundaries at all times.
This position is for one-on-one support to the individual receiving services. Childcare, babysitting, or supervision of other household members is not part of this position unless specifically authorized in the support plan and approved by the company.
Main Job Duties
Staff will be responsible for:
- Providing one-on-one support in the individual’s home
- Helping the individual follow their daily routine
- Supporting daily living skills and independence
- Assisting with personal care needs, if listed in the support plan
- Helping with household tasks related to the individual’s goals
- Supporting communication, positive choices, and respectful behavior
- Monitoring safety during the full shift
- Following the individual’s CSP/CSSP and company policies
- Completing documentation after each shift
- Reporting concerns, incidents, or changes to a supervisor
- Maintaining professional boundaries at all times
Staff Expectations
Staff must:
- Have experience working with individuals who need support
- Be reliable and arrive on time
- Stay awake, alert, and available during the full shift
- Treat the individual with dignity and respect
- Follow all company policies and required training
- Keep client information private
- Complete documentation every day after the shift
- Communicate professionally with supervisors and team members
- Maintain a safe, calm, and supportive environment
- Respect the family home setting and maintain appropriate boundaries
Requirements
- Female staff only for this specific one-on-one assignment
- Experience providing direct care, in-home support, DSP services, PCA services, or similar support services is required
- Must pass a background study
- Must complete all required training
- Must be dependable, respectful, and professional
- Must be available to work daytime shifts between Monday and Saturday
- Must be able to work 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Must be able to follow the individual’s support plan and company policies
Pay
Pay is $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and ability to meet the needs of the position.
