Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team at a nurturing daycare learning center environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and a commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere for young children. This role requires the ability to educate and inspire students while implementing effective behavior management strategies. Experience with Montessori methods is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Educate children on various subjects, including basic literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
- Monitor and assess student progress through standardized testing and informal assessments.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Manage classroom behavior in a positive manner, promoting respect and cooperation among students.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience of students.
Experience
- Proven experience in a preschool or early childhood education setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles, TRS, and best practices in childcare.
- Experience in lesson planning and implementing educational activities tailored to young learners is required.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support diverse learning needs.
- Previous experience in a private school or Montessori environment is advantageous but not required.
