Responsibilities
- Create beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Maintain the appearance of the sales floor through stocking, merchandising, and organizing floral displays.
- Keeping workspaces organized.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and processing payments
- Manage inventory levels by receiving shipments and ensuring product freshness and quality
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, taking orders over the phone and processing internet orders.
Experience
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Familiarity with retail operations including cashiering, merchandising, stock management, and retail math principles
- Experience working with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure accurate transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and proactive approach to assisting shoppers
