Job Summary:
The Outdoor Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the exterior appearance, safety,
and functionality of the lodge grounds and outdoor facilities. This position helps ensure guests
enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain landscaped grounds, walking paths, and parking areas.
- Work with cattle, sheep, and laying hens
- Remove snow and ice from walkways, roads, and entrances during winter months.
- Operate and maintain equipment such as lawn mowers, tractors, snow blowers, chainsaws, and hand
tools.
- Perform basic repairs to fences, signs, and other exterior structures.
- Collect trash and debris from the property and maintain outdoor cleanliness.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain equipment in good working order.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or general maintenance is an asset.
- Ability to safely operate landscaping and snow removal equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with weekend and holiday availability as needed.
- Frequent outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Physical work involving lifting, bending, walking, climbing, and operating equipment.
