JOB DESCRIPTION:
Consolidated Networks Corporation (CNC) is hiring a Network Administrator to work in the Security Operations Center (SOC) supporting the (WTRS) Warfighter Training Readiness Solutions contract, This position is at Ft. Irwin, the U.S. Army National Training Center (NTC), located in the Mojave Desert 40 miles northeast of Barstow, CA. The network administrator will be responsible for providing network-related support for the Mission Command Information System. In addition, the network administrator will be responsible for providing continuous operational support during rotational exercise hours, other training events as required, and coverage during standard workdays.
REQUIREMENTS:
·Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
· Must have a CompTIA Security+ CE certification or other IAT Level II certification to start.
· Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain Fort Irwin driving privileges.
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and wear appropriate personal protective equipment, if required.
· Must be able to assist outside of normal working hours during training rotations.
· Must be able to travel to remote locations in extreme weather conditions as required to include the heat, and cold of the Mojave Desert, helicopter travel, 4x4 travel, tactical vehicles elevated walkways, and mountain tops.
· Must be able to communicate via two-way radio.
DESIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
· CompTIA Network+
· Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
· 1-2 years of experience working with Cisco IOS routers and switches, Cisco Unified Call Manager, and Firepower.
· Familiar with Army WIN-T systems.
· Proficiency with networking protocols and hardware.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
· Responsible for implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, and VPNs.
· Installing, configuring, and supporting network hardware and software, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
· Upgrade and maintain network systems, including firmware updates, hardware replacements, software and security patches.
· VoIP device provisioning and management.
· Active monitoring of all network nodes with network monitoring and diagnostic tools, such as SolarWinds and Wireshark.
· Monitor and document the status of voice, data, and video equipment systems and networks.
· Work quickly and effectively with internal teams, end users, and the Army to resolve system and/or network related issues.
· Handle and secure COMSEC material for loading into network devices requiring NSA approved encryption.
· Prepare, build, and maintain any network cabling required to connect users, systems, and networks.
· Provide continuous operational support of the TOCNET system on the network during rotations, training events, and during standard workdays.
· Maintain accurate documentation of network hardware inventory.
· And other duties as assigned.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
