Schedule: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM–7:00 PM (flexible for college classes)
Status: Part-Time | Non-Exempt
The Boys & Girls Club of the Big Country is seeking energetic, caring individuals to join our after-school team. Youth Development Professionals (YDPs) create a safe, fun, and supportive environment where youth can learn, grow, and thrive. This is a great opportunity for college students, aspiring teachers, coaches, or anyone passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.

Supervise and engage youth during after-school programming

Lead games, educational activities, sports, arts, STEM, and enrichment programs

Build positive relationships and serve as a mentor and role model

Promote a safe, inclusive, and structured environment

Provide homework assistance and encourage positive behavior

Work collaboratively with staff and participate in trainings and special events

High school diploma or GED preferred
-
Experience working with children or teens preferred

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Dependable, positive, and enthusiastic

Reliable transportation

Pass a criminal background check and drug screening

Comply with all Boys & Girls Club policies

CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Must be able to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities, stand for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
