Shipper & Packer / Warehouse Help/ Tear down
JCM Computers, LLC in Abington, MA, is in search of an experienced Shipper & Packer to join our team. We are a certified recycling facility that recycles, buys, sells, and scraps all types of electronics & other business-related items.
We are looking for someone that doesn't mind getting their hands a little dirty. Someone to assist with our in house projects when needed and help with our events and customer equipment pick ups.
Primary Role:
This is a general warehouse job that will consist of the following on a daily basis in some form.
- Safely pack and ship our unique items sold through e Bay and other sites
- Create and complete shipments via UPS, USPS, FedEx and other Freight Companies
- Process and fulfill orders
- Prepare large orders for shipping
- Procure shipping quotes
- Help customers
- Complete on site customer pick ups
- Dismantle equipment and sort components.
Experience:
- Prior shipping experience is strongly desired
- Prior eBay Experience is strongly desired but not required
- Experience with different types of computer hardware and electronics, but will train the right candidate
- Knowledge of software - Windows, Microsoft Office, Android, and other operating systems
- Knowledge with eBay, Sixbit, UPS World Ship, Fedex, USPS and other various software programs
- Pack & Ship Items safely and securely for transit to the customer.
- Basic warehouse skills such as pallet jack and crating large equipment
- Basic power tools use- will train if needed
