Production Associate (Sanitation & Packer )

We are looking for skilled Warehouse Associates to support our company’s warehouse production operations. You will maintain a clean and hygienic environment in our food processing facility to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards through cleaning, sanitizing, and inspecting equipment and areas. You will also ensure the production of quality goods while adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Process) compliance. You will pack, load, unload, clean, and perform various warehouse activities.
The position is part of the Union and is a non-exempt, full-time, and fully benefited position and reports to the Production Manager.
Responsibilities
- Sanitation
- Use USDA approved chemicals to disinfect surfaces, sanitize all components of our food production, and processing equipment.
- Clean and sanitize food processing equipment, utensils, and tools according to established procedures and schedules.
- Clean floors, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces in the food processing area.
- Dispose of waste materials properly and safely.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning and sanitation activities, including dates, times, and procedures used.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Packer
- Pack the product as it comes off the conveyor belts.
- Inspect products for defects and damage.
- Organize stock and maintain inventory.
- Process, package, and ship orders accurately.
- Organize warehouse space.
- Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately.
- Check, verify and fill customer invoices.
- Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized daily.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements and Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required.
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written), required.
- 1-3 years of production-related experience; mixing and refining skills are desirable.
- Ability to stand, walk, and reach continuously during the shift, and lift/carry up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.
Schedule
The shifts are:
o 1st Day Shift 6:50 AM to 3:20 PM
o 2nd Swing Shift 3:10 PM to 11:10 PM
