PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (Not all inclusive)
- Assess, diagnose and teach students with communicative disorders including articulation, language, fluency voice and hearing impairments
- Manage varied case loads to provide consultative and direct services to students with disabilities
- Participate in ongoing staff development to interact effectively with colleagues and administrators for the implementation of inclusive services for identified students
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience with assistive technology related to communication
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience
Master’s degree in speech/language pathology. Job related experience within specialized field is required.
Certificates, Licenses, Permits: Valid Board of Audiology and Speech/Language Pathology license
(BASLP) speech therapist license.
SALARY: Clinician salary scale for ten months (Salary commensurate with experience) plus $2750.00 supplement for Master’s Degree and $2500.00 supplement for Speech Certification (CCC)
