Job Overview
We are looking to add one or two qualified people to our team as Warehouse Associates! We are a small family owned business specializing in shipments of Fitness Supplements, Nutrition, Pet Food, and we have recently moved into the Food and Dry Good space. We are looking for someone who is a self motivated and enthusiastic person with great critical thinking skills and deductive reasoning. Your role on the team would be responsible for packing products to be shipped out to various retailers. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth day to day operations and maintaining an error free and efficient workflow.
Responsibilities
- Assist in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment
- Prepare shipments by packaging products securely, verifying order accuracy, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations and international trade standards
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall workflow efficiency
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or logistics setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Basic math skills are essential for inventory counting, measurements, and calculations related to shipping weights and dimensions
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure accurate order picking & packing
- Demonstrated ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols
