Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping operations with energy and precision. This pivotal role involves overseeing all cleaning, sanitation, and custodial services across our hospitality or commercial facilities. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks, ensuring high standards are consistently met.
- Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff, providing training, support, and performance feedback to promote a motivated and efficient workforce.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, safety procedures, and sanitation protocols aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the management of industrial cleaning projects, commercial cleaning contracts, and custodial services to maintain cleanliness across all areas.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and workplace safety practices.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness levels, identify areas for improvement, and address any issues promptly.
- Foster excellent customer service by responding to guest or client inquiries related to housekeeping services with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning operations, custodial work, or hospitality housekeeping management with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high morale.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices in industrial or commercial settings.
- Excellent communication skills for managerial interactions, staff supervision, and customer service engagement.
- Hands-on experience with janitorial tasks such as laundry services and general cleaning procedures.
- Ability to develop efficient work schedules and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with management tools for team supervision, safety compliance documentation, and quality assurance processes.
