Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Strong assessment, observation, and counseling skills
- Familiarity with intervention strategies, IEP processes, and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Previous school-based or pediatric clinical experience preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to support evaluations for learning, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop clear, actionable recommendations and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement effective interventions
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines concerning special education
- Maintain thorough documentation and case records in accordance with district and legal policies
