JO Logistic & Hauling is an expanding logistics and transportation company focused on delivering reliable, efficient, and secure freight services. We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Loader to join our full-time operations team. This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable with physical labor, take pride in their work, and thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload freight, packages, and materials from trucks, trailers, and shipping containers
- Transport, organize, and store products within warehouse and staging areas
- Secure cargo properly to ensure safe handling and transportation
- Inspect shipments for accuracy, visible damage, and correct labeling before dispatch and upon arrival
- Operate material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and dollies in a safe manner
- Assist warehouse personnel and drivers with order preparation and shipment staging
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow company policies, operational procedures, and workplace safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, loading, or logistics experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 75 lbs
- Capable of standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexible and willing to work additional hours when needed
