Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Crew Leader, Landscape to spearhead our landscaping and maintenance projects. In this role, you will lead a team of skilled landscape professionals, ensuring high-quality execution of landscape maintenance, planting, pruning, irrigation management, and lawn care. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of landscape crew members to ensure timely completion of landscaping projects
- Lead landscaping tasks including planting, pruning, mowing, fertilizing, and lawn care with precision and care
- Manage irrigation systems, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize watering schedules for healthy landscapes
- Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and maintenance practices are followed
- Oversee safety protocols on-site to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Collaborate with project managers on construction projects to align landscaping efforts with project timelines and specifications
- Provide training and mentorship to crew members in horticulture techniques, equipment operation, and best practices in landscape maintenance
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture with a strong understanding of plant identification and garden care
- Supervising or team management experience in outdoor or construction settings
- Knowledge of irrigation management systems and troubleshooting skills for irrigation issues
- Hands-on experience with lawn care techniques including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest control
- Construction experience related to outdoor projects is highly desirable
- Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members effectively
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to operate landscaping equipment safely
- Passion for gardening, tree care, horticulture practices, and outdoor aesthetics
