Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves maintenance and repair of HVAC systems in mostly residential and some commercial settings. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, heating systems, and ventilation equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify issues with HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform field service tasks including equipment repair and maintenance on-site.
- Build and assemble HVAC components as needed to ensure system integrity.
- Weld and plumb components as part of installation or repair processes.
- Drive company vehicles to transport tools and equipment to job sites safely.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, tools, and equipment is essential.
- Experience in field service work is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license is required for driving company vehicles to job sites.
