About the role
DiCicco Development is a Pittsburgh-based Class A commercial office ownership firm seeking a Senior Commercial Architect to join our in-house design and construction team. This is an owner-side position — your designs get built. You are not a vendor.
You'll work directly alongside our Registered Architect / Director of Design & Construction, with a clear path to succeeding her in a senior leadership role as she moves toward retirement.
What you'll do
- Lead architectural design and space planning for tenant improvements and capital projects across our 1M+ sq ft portfolio
- Produce construction documents and architectural drawings in AutoCAD
- Serve as owner's representative through full construction administration — submittals, RFIs, site observation, contractor coordination
- Partner daily with our Facilities team and tenants to assess space needs and drive improvements
- Collaborate directly with ownership on design standards and portfolio strategy
What we're looking for
- Architecture degree (B.Arch or M.Arch) required — this role is design-led, not project management-focused
- 10+ years of commercial office architecture experience
- Hands-on construction administration experience
- RA license strongly preferred; unlicensed candidates with strong experience considered
- AutoCAD proficiency; Revit a plus

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
