Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and leadership‑driven Restoration Team Lead to oversee field operations, guide technicians, and ensure projects are executed to the highest standard. This role is ideal for individuals with restoration experience who are ready to step into a leadership position and take ownership of jobsite performance, client communication, and team development.
As a Team Lead, you will manage jobsite workflow, direct crew members, ensure safety compliance, and uphold our company’s quality standards. You’ll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service while mentoring entry-level technicians and demo crew members.
Duties
- Lead and supervise restoration technicians and demo crew members on all job sites.
- Assess property damage and determine appropriate restoration strategies.
- Oversee water damage restoration, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification.
- Manage mold remediation following IICRC standards and safety protocols.
- Direct fire restoration tasks, including soot and smoke cleaning procedures.
- Ensure proper and safe operation of hand tools, power tools, and restoration equipment.
- Maintain strict compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Coordinate daily workflow, delegate tasks, and ensure project milestones are met.
- Communicate professionally with clients, adjusters, and team members.
- Review and approve detailed job notes, photos, and documentation uploaded daily.
- Train, mentor, and support crew members to develop their restoration skills.
- Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and prepared for each phase of work.
Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience in restoration, mitigation, or construction leadership.
- Strong work ethic and reliability — you lead by example.
- Ability to direct, coach, and support team members effectively.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Comfort with physical labor, demolition, and restoration tasks.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to drive large trucks and box trucks.
- Ability to pass background check and random drug/alcohol tests.
- IICRC WTR Certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain within the first year.
- Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team in high-pressure situations.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with clients and insurance partners.
