Job Summary
We are looking for motivated Geothermal Techs and Apprentices to join our team! In this role, you will work directly under the guidance of licensed Plumbers and Geothermal Technicians to assemble, install, and maintain Geothermal systems. You’ll gain hands-on experience on active construction sites, mastering everything from reading blueprints to operating heavy machinery.
Duties
- Assembly & Installation: Position and fasten parts (pipes, valves, pumps) using welding processes based on blueprints and supervisor direction.
- Precision Work: Use jigs, facers, and files to ensure parts fit perfectly.
- Tool Operation: Purge trailers, bandsaws, drills, jigs, facers and heaters etc.
- Site Support: Maintain a clean and safe workspace at the job sites.
Qualifications
- Licensing: Must have (or be eligible to obtain) a Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE) Apprentice License before starting.
- You must have the ability to pass a background check and a drug test.
- Experience: No experience is required, but some experience is preferred.
- Skills: Ability to read safety rules, blueprints, and procedure manuals.
- Solid math skills (fractions, decimals, ratios, and basic measurements).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow complex oral and written instructions.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Physical Strength: Regularly lift/move or push up to 50 lbs.
- Agility: Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl in tight or high spaces.
- Environment: You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, near moving
- mechanical parts, and in loud environments. Exposure to fumes, vibrations, and heat is common.
- Safety: Must be able to wear all required PPE and have good vision/hearing for site safety.
