Washington County is seeking applicants for Children and Youth Casework Supervisor. This is an opportunity to oversee the investigating and servicing of abuse cases in accordance with the Child Protective Services Law and other child welfare legislation and assist casework staff in the performance of their job duties.
The starting annual salary is $64,184.45 with a generous benefits package, including family health insurance, retirement contribution and wellness benefits/activities for both employees and their families. On-call compensation, as assigned, is also awarded to supervisors for covering on-call shifts during evenings, weekends and holidays at 25% of their hourly rate for all time spent on such duty.
Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor’s degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice or other related social sciences or any equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice or other related social sciences is required. Supervisory and computer experience is necessary.
