Responsibilities
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks using appropriate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor buffing machines, and hand tools to ensure thorough sanitation of facilities.
- Safely operate ladders for reaching high areas during cleaning or maintenance activities, adhering strictly to ladder use safety protocols.
- Conduct outdoor work including debris removal, yard cleanup, and hauling materials or waste to designated disposal areas.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, goggles, and fire extinguishers to maintain safety standards during all tasks.
- Handle manual lifting of heavy objects or equipment with proper technique to prevent injury while supporting cleaning or hauling operations.
- Assist with duct cleaning, floor buffing, and other specialized industrial cleaning procedures to maintain optimal facility conditions.
- Use various cleaning tools and equipment efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines; perform routine inspections to ensure equipment is in good working order.
- Support customer service efforts by maintaining a professional attitude when interacting with clients or site visitors during service delivery.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is preferred; outdoor work experience is a plus.
- Ability to operate hand tools, pressure washing equipment, and use fire extinguishers confidently.
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of safety protocols including PPE usage, manual handling techniques, and hazard awareness.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with duct cleaning, floor buffing, and general industrial cleaning procedures is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to safety and cleanliness standards.
