Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles such as roll-off trucks and flatbed trailers to transport materials to designated locations.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary, ensuring secure handling of all cargo.
- Follow established routes and schedules, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure punctual deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles, checking for mechanical issues, fluid levels, brakes, lights, and tires before each shift.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and inspection reports for compliance and operational tracking.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate pickups, drop-offs, and route adjustments as needed.
- Assist with site cleanup or debris removal tasks when required, supporting overall project progress.
Skills
- Proven experience operating dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or similar heavy-duty vehicles with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Familiarity with manual transmission systems commonly used in large trucks.
- Ability to drive refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, or freight vehicles confidently.
- Strong knowledge of route driving principles and delivery procedures across diverse terrains.
- Experience with load & unload operations using forklifts or other handling equipment.
- Excellent driving record with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL), including endorsements for dump trucks or specific vehicle types if applicable.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
