We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented housekeeping professional to lead daily cleaning operations and support a welcoming, well-maintained environment. In this role, you will help coordinate housekeeping activities, uphold quality standards, and ensure assigned areas are cleaned efficiently and consistently. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, a hands-on approach, and a commitment to excellent service. This role is a mid-afternoon or early evening shift that leads the PM Housekeeping Team to ensure last minute room cleanings are completed, as well as public space is spotless for all guest along with closing shift duties for housekeeping.
- Supervise daily housekeeping activities and support the team in completing assigned tasks.
- Assign and monitor cleaning duties to ensure rooms, public areas, and workspaces meet quality standards.
- Inspect completed work to confirm cleanliness, organization, and adherence to procedures.
- Train and coach team members on cleaning methods, safety practices, and service expectations.
- Maintain cleaning supplies, equipment, and inventory levels; report shortages as needed.
- Respond promptly to housekeeping requests and resolve issues in a professional manner.
- Coordinate schedules and support workflow to help maintain efficient operations.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Assist with documenting work completed, maintenance concerns, or supply needs.
- Lead by example through professionalism, reliability, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
- Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or facilities experience preferred.
- Prior experience in a lead, shift lead, or supervisory role is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with team members and other departments.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and basic sanitation practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
