We are hiring experienced Trim Carpenters / Finish Carpenters only.
This is not a general labor position.
Project Overview
A Lasting Impression is hiring skilled Trim Carpenters / Finish Carpenters for a retail store refresh project.
Work includes finish carpentry, millwork installation, and retail fixture installation inside active retail environments.
This is a 1-3 week project, and strong performers may be offered ongoing work or full-time opportunities on national rollout crews . (OPTIONAL)
We are a field-led construction company built by tradesmen and managed by tradesmen.
Scope of Work
Finish carpentry and installation including:
- Baseboard installation
- Door and window casing
- Crown molding
- Retail millwork installation
- Store fixture installation
- Trim adjustments and punch work
- Painting Skills Preferred.
- Bringing in materials
- Reading Prints
- Creating RFIs
Work must be clean, professional, and efficient in open retail environments.
Required Experience
Applicants must have:
- 4–5+ years trim or finish carpentry experience
- Ability to install base, casing, and crown molding without supervision
- Experience with miter saws and finish nailers
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Ability to work fast while maintaining clean finish work
- Ability to help with paint finish
Tools
Carpenters should have most of the following:
- Tape measure
- Speed square
- Levels
- Finish nailer
- Hand tools for trim work
- Miter saw preferred
Schedule
- 8–10 hour shifts
- Some evening or overnight work depending on store hours
- Project length: 3 weeks
Compensation
$20-24 per hour depending on experience, speed, and tool ownership.
Top performers may be offered:
- Lead carpenter roles
- Traveling retail rollout projects
- Full-time positions
