Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Collections Expert to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for following up on calling patients about their outstanding balances. This candidate will ideally be able to understand medical billing and read EOBs to determine accuracy of patient accounts.
Responsibilities
- Verify patient insurance coverage, including eligibility and benefits verification
- Review patient balances and insurance payments
- Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance companies to resolve billing issues
- Handle medical collections and ensure compliance with billing policies
Experience
- Proven experience in medical billing, medical terminology, and medical office systems
- Familiarity with medical collection practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
-Experience working with insurance companies solving issues on claims
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and external stakeholders

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
