Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license for New Jersey
- CCC-SLP certification required
- Previous experience working as a school-based SLP
- Strong understanding of childhood speech, language, and communication disorders
- Effective collaboration and communication skills with teachers, parents, and other staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students within a school environment
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, voice, and fluency concerns
- Conduct evaluations and document progress in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support students’ academic and social success
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute professional insight, and maintain accurate reports and records
- Deliver services onsite and support a positive learning experience for every child on your caseload
