Our growing dental practice is looking for part time hygienist to add to our team! We have a great team and are looking for someone will become an integral part of our team and grow with us. We need someone dependable and a team player with positive attitude. We are a digital and progressive practice and offer lots of learning opportunities. Compensation is DOE and skill set related and can be production based. The position is one day a week/Tuesday or Wednesday 8:30 AM to 5:30PM
Job responsibilities are as follows:
Responsibilities
- Ensure patients comfort and address their needs first and foremost
- Perform thorough dental assessment and treatment under RDH scope of practice
- Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
- Take X-rays or dental impressions, give LA , explain dental needs
- Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer)
- Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
- Monitor supplies
Skills
- New Graduates welcome
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
- Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
- Outstanding communication skills
- A patient and friendly personality
- Attention to detail
- Valid license to practice is required
