Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional manner.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries with excellent phone etiquette.
- Manage scheduling and appointments efficiently.
- Maintain an organized filing system for documents and records.
- Create and send referrals for patients
- Support medical reception duties if applicable, including patient check-in processes.
- Handle billing inquiries and assist with QuickBooks as needed.
- Ensure the front desk area is tidy and presentable at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, fax machines).
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist is advantageous but not mandatory.
