About the Role
The Billing Supervisor plays a critical leadership role within our Support Center, overseeing accounts receivable operations and ensuring accurate, compliant billing practices. This position supports both internal functions and our long-term care and skilled nursing communities, helping to drive financial performance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise accounts receivable and billing processes
- Ensure compliance with accepted accounting principles and healthcare regulations
- Oversee billing for Medicare, Medicaid, and Advantage Plus programs
- Monitor and resolve AR discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner
- Support month-end close activities and reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams and facility partners to optimize revenue cycle processes
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive financial information
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred)
- Proven experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and Advantage Plus billing in a long-term care or inpatient setting
- Prior team leadership or supervisory experience in healthcare billing
- Strong knowledge of UB-04/UB-94 forms, HCPCS codes, and PDPM reimbursement models
- Experience with computerized accounting or billing systems
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a structured, process-driven environment
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, especially when handling sensitive financial matters
