Position Summary
The Treasury Support Specialist partners closely with Loan Officers to support business development and relationship management activities for commercial and small business customers. This role assists with identifying treasury solutions, preparing for and participating in sales calls, onboarding new customers, and serving as a liaison between the front line and back‑office operations. The position is customer‑facing, sales‑support focused, and critical to delivering a seamless Treasury Management experience within a community bank environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Sales and Relationship Support
· Work directly with Loan Officers to support commercial relationship management and business development efforts.
· Participate in joint sales calls, customer visits, and prospect meetings to help present Treasury Management products and solutions.
· Assist in identifying customer needs, gathering information, and recommending appropriate treasury solutions in coordination with the sales team.
· Prepare sales materials, proposals, pricing support, and product comparisons for customer meetings.
· Follow up on sales opportunities, referral tracking, and pipeline activity as directed.
Customer Onboarding and Service
· Coordinate the onboarding of new Treasury Management customers, including document collection, product setup requests, and customer education.
· Share points of contact for day‑to‑day Treasury Management service inquiries that are relationship- or product-related alongside the Business Banking Specialist.
· Provide customer training and support on treasury products such as online banking, remote deposit capture, fraud prevention services, and information reporting.
· Ensure a smooth handoff between sales, onboarding, and back‑office teams to deliver a positive customer experience.
Coordination with Back-Office Operations
· Work hand in hand with the ACH and Wire Operations departments to coordinate product setup, changes, and servicing needs.
· Act as a liaison between customers, Loan Officers, Business Banking Specialist, and operations staff to ensure timely and accurate support.
· Communicate operational requirements, timelines, and documentation needs clearly to customers and internal partners.
· Escalate issues or concerns to appropriate departments while maintaining clear ownership and follow‑through.
Compliance, Risk, and Administration
· Assist with gathering and reviewing documentation to ensure compliance with Bank policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
· Support fraud awareness by helping customers understand available controls and escalating concerns to appropriate teams.
· Maintain accurate records, customer files, and tracking related to Treasury Management sales and service activity.
· Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, efficiency, and collaboration.
· Perform other duties as assigned to support Treasury and Commercial Banking objectives.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
· One to three years of experience in banking, treasury management, business banking, commercial lending support, or customer relationship roles preferred.
· Community bank experience is a plus.
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
