Are you an experienced HOA professional looking to join a collaborative team? AMS is seeking an Association Business Manager to oversee a portfolio of homeowner and condominium associations. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships with Boards of Directors, and can confidently balance multiple priorities while delivering exceptional customer service.
Prior HOA management experience is strongly preferred.
- Manage a portfolio of homeowner and condominium associations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Boards of Directors, homeowners, and vendors.
- Prepare for and attend Board meetings, including agendas, management reports, and meeting minutes.
- Develop and monitor association budgets alongside the Accounting team.
- Coordinate vendor bids, contracts, and maintenance projects.
- Conduct regular property inspections and follow up on maintenance and compliance matters.
- Respond to homeowner and Board inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Oversee compliance programs and help resolve homeowner concerns.
- Partner with internal support teams to ensure communities receive exceptional service.
- Participate in after-hours phone coverage and attend evening Board meetings as needed.
- Prior HOA management experience strongly preferred.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working directly with Boards of Directors and vendors.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits.
- CMCA®, AMS®, or PCAM® designation, or willingness to obtain required certifications.
- Property management experience with homeowner or condominium associations.
- Experience preparing budgets, coordinating projects, and managing vendor relationships.
