Position Overview: The Project Coordinator plays a key role in optimizing production and program management by working closely with Project Managers, Production Managers, and Purchasing teams. This role ensures that projects are completed on time and within budget, focusing on efficient manufacturing flow and accurate data management.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Monitor and track parts throughout the manufacturing process to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to project schedules.
· Monitor project progress and communicate schedule changes, risks, and critical updates.
· Serve as the primary liaison between vendors, suppliers, and internal departments, facilitating effective communication and issue resolution.
· Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and support parts sourcing, procurement activities, and requisition processes.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance organization, workflow efficiency, communication, and production tracking processes.
· Support action item tracking, purchase requisitions, and contract work coordination.
· Organize, label, and manage part locations, inventory, and storage systems to maintain efficient material flow and traceability.
· Organize and manage Purchase Orders (POs), project documentation, and related records to support efficient project execution.
· Track supplier performance, lead times, and delivery commitments.
· Prepare project closeout documentation and archive completed project records.
Qualifications:
· 2-3 years of experience in administrative support, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
· Knowledge of automotive, aviation, or fabrication terms is a plus.
· Previous experience as a project coordinator is preferred.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Computer literate with the ability to learn new software.
· Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Additional Requirements:
· Expected Schedule: 8 AM – 5 PM.
· Ability to stand for extended periods.
· Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
