THE COMPANY:
Social Vocational Services (SVS) has been serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout California since 1977.
THE POSITION:
We’re looking for full-time Personal Support Specialist at one of our Reedley program offices.
- Provide one-to-one training or adaptive services to a specific client enrolled in our Day Program
- Provide training, support and/or accommodation necessary for completing client objectives
- Assist with personal hygiene needs
- Serve as facilitator to integrate assigned client into group activities
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-job offer, must obtain DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance
- Must pass post-job offer job-related physical exam including TB test and drug screen
- First Aid/CPR certification (SVS will provide)
- Effective written and verbal communication
- COVID-19 vaccination required (SVS complies with Title VII and California’s FEHA).
