Duties
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival with a friendly smile and genuine enthusiasm, setting a positive tone for their visit
- Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the restaurant’s offerings
- Maintain clear communication with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate seating times and guest needs
- Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Monitor waiting areas, ensuring guest comfort and providing updates on wait times as needed
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area to uphold high standards of hospitality
- Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, striving to exceed expectations at every interaction
Experience
- Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service or hospitality roles is highly preferred, showcasing your ability to manage guest interactions confidently
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and non-verbal—to effectively engage with guests and team members
- Experience in hotel or guest services environments is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across various hospitality settings
- Knowledge of serving protocols, guest relations, and hospitality standards helps deliver top-tier service
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude in a dynamic environment
