Overview:
MUST be an experienced appliance service journeyman. NO on-the-job training. MUST have 5 years experience with another appliance service company.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests on appliances to identify issues and determine the appropriate repair method
- Repair and replace faulty components in appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, washers, dryers, microwaves, etc.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering any questions they may have
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with electrical components
Experience:
- Previous experience as an Appliance Service Technician.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of appliance assembly and disassembly
- Proficiency in electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers in a professional manner
