ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a reliable, organized, and safety-focused Lot Lead to oversee our weekend lot operations. The Lot Lead will be responsible for keeping vehicles, equipment, staff, and event-day operations organized and moving efficiently.
This position plays an important role in making sure vehicles are properly staged, equipment is ready to go, staff know where they need to be, and morning and evening operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can take direction, work independently, and confidently coordinate with drivers, entertainers, delivery teams, and management.
A valid driver’s license is required, as the Lot Lead may also be responsible for moving company vehicles when needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and organize daily weekend lot operations
- Stage company vehicles and equipment for scheduled events
- Coordinate vehicle movement and help maintain an organized lot
- Direct staff and drivers during arrivals and departures
- Assist with morning and evening dispatch operations
- Ensure vehicles and equipment are properly accounted for before leaving the lot
- Help coordinate the return of vehicles and equipment at the end of shifts
- Communicate with management regarding vehicle, equipment, staffing, or operational issues
- Perform basic pre- and post-trip vehicle checks
- Move company vehicles when necessary and authorized
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized lot
- Monitor the flow of vehicles and staff to prevent delays and confusion
- Assist the operations team with last-minute weekend needs
- Report damaged, missing, or improperly returned equipment immediately
- Follow all company safety, vehicle, scheduling, and communication policies
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (MVR check required)
- Previous experience in operations, logistics, warehouse, transportation, event production, or a similar role preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to confidently direct and coordinate employees
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Must be able to work independently and make good decisions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment
- Must be able to work both Saturday and Sunday
- Must be available for a weekend split-shift schedule
- Must reside within approximately 20 minutes of Valley Stream, NY
- Must be comfortable working outdoors and around company vehicles and equipment
PAY & SCHEDULE
- Starting Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour
- Pay based on experience and qualifications
- Weekend Part-Time Position
- Saturday & Sunday
- Split-shift schedule with morning and evening blocks
