Job Overview
As a Assistant Kitchen Manager/Line Lead, you will play a crucial role in supporting kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth running of food preparation activities. This position requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Our Kitchen Lead will have the opportunity to move into Full Service management to include Front of House. We have room to grow and move up in the company.
Duties
- Assist with food preparation and cooking under the direction of kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas
- Follow food safety standards and guidelines
- Support inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
Requirements
- Experience in food preparation and kitchen operations is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Willingness to learn and adapt to varying tasks in the kitchen
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
