Seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to lead and coordinate capital improvement (CapEx) projects across our dairy manufacturing facilities. This position is responsible for managing facility expansions, equipment installations, process improvements, and construction projects while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage CapEx projects from concept through commissioning and start-up.
- Coordinate contractors, engineers, equipment suppliers, and internal departments.
- Oversee installation of dairy processing equipment for cheese, yogurt, sour cream, whey, and related products.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and progress reports. Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, USDA, and environmental regulations.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Support commissioning, validation, and operational handoff of new equipment and facilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or MBA Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (required).
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing industrial CapEx or construction projects, preferably in food or dairy manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, budgeting, scheduling, and contractor management.
- Experience with manufacturing equipment installation, utilities, and facility expansion projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- PMP certification is a plus.
Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
