Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently using Toast POS.
- Engage with guests warmly, taking orders and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by handling food and beverages properly, adhering to food handling protocols.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering and basic math calculations for bills and change.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down bar areas for different events like nightclubs, banquets, or catering functions.
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure seamless service.
- Uphold responsible serving practices by recognizing intoxication signs and adhering to alcohol service regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially within fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle multiple orders efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining quality service.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety.
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions.
- Experience in brewing or beverage preparation adds value; certification in responsible alcohol service is a plus.
