Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our manufacturing or industrial facility. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring all building systems, equipment, and infrastructure function optimally to support production activities. Your expertise in facilities management, mechanical and electrical systems, and project coordination will drive continuous improvement and uphold the highest standards of safety and reliability. Duties
- Oversees daily activities of facility maintenance contractors, vendor personnel, and suppliers including monitoring contracts for compliance and control of costs.
- Oversees facilities maintenance, improvement projects, vendor contracts, and inspections.
- Monitors the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces.
- Schedules routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.
- Coordinates regular inspections of building systems, including maintaining inspection procedures and timelines, working with outside vendors to conduct inspections, and tracking property metrics.
- Research and coordinates best options for facilities purchases focusing on greatest efficiency and highest quality.
- Manages all office moves and new workspace setups.
- Communicates effectively with the owners, tenants, contractors, and permitting agencies.
- Orients new employees on necessary facilities items such as security system, occupancy sensors, other building systems as needed, and general safety and evacuation procedures.
- Plans and oversees repair work using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, and schematic diagrams.
- Occasional hands-on work required for:
o Repairing defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools and reassemble equipment.
o Performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure that the physical condition of building does not deteriorate.
o Painting and repairing windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall and other parts of building structures.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years’ experience in facility operations and maintenance OR a combination of education and related working experience from with comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired.
Must comply and satisfactorily pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
Ability to complete and be granted/maintain a US Department of State MRPT clearance as a condition of employment as described in our employee handbook.
o A preliminary and interim security background check must be passed before employment begins and the full MRPT application completed up on starting employment. All offers of employment are conditional based upon successful completion, approval, and maintenance of this clearance.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
