Must Haves:
Past or present control room operations experience with a mix of broadcast technology expertise, real-time problem-solving, and calm under pressure to keep live television and streaming signals running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain broadcast studio equipment, including video switchers, audio consoles, lighting systems, and media servers to ensure flawless live and recorded broadcasts
- During live shows, set up, operate and troubleshoot equipment if issues arise in control room for a Live TV show and streaming outlets. Including operating a stationary camera when needed.
- Manage audio and video processing workflows during live events and post-production sessions to deliver clear, professional-quality content.
- Capture footage through filming and videography techniques for live broadcast, promotional videos, or editorial content using professional cameras and media editing tools
- Knowledge of ( or willingness to learn) equipment to Edit videos using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, to produce polished final products for broadcast or online distribution.
- Collaborate with production teams to coordinate live TV setups, including lighting for video production and integration of media elements
- Monitor broadcast signals continuously during live transmissions to identify issues promptly and execute corrective actions swiftly
Requirements
- Proven experience with broadcast studio equipment operation, including video switchers, audio systems, and media servers for Live broadcast
- Technical proficiency with media editing tools and other graphic design software
- Knowledge of lighting systems tailored for Live video production
- Knowledge of audio systems and audio/video processing technologies used in live TV environments
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently during live broadcasts or recording sessions
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with production teams and vendors
- A proactive attitude with a passion for continuous learning in broadcast technology trends
- Either a proven track record or willingness to lead, mentor and guide a production crew.
