A busy and growing printer in Huntingdon Valley, PA seeks an enthusiastic and tech-savvy individual to join our team in a digital print and finishing position.
This person will take on day-to-day responsibility for our digital workflow, handling several digital presses, and ensuring high quality printing is completed on schedule. The Job includes operating Fiery based servers, setting up and imposing files, daily maintenance, handling paper stock and consumables. Experience with programs such as Adobe InDesign and Acrobat is a plus, as is knowledge of paper and print.
This position also requires work in our finishing department as needed for trimming, binding, laminating and assembling customer jobs. This position will also assist in packing and shipping customer jobs.
We are a small operation and are looking for a true team player who is customer service oriented, with good communication skills and an attention to detail. We often share duties, and expect everyone to take on tasks as needed for our customers. We want someone with a can-do attitude willing to learn and contribute to improving our company and workflow.
An Ideal candidate will be:
- comfortable with computers and technology
- able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- capable of standing for long periods
- enthusiastic about print, color, and design
- patient, organized, and energized
- a good communicator and team player
- reliable and have own means of transportation
- eager to learn new skills
- knowledge of print, paper, Adobe Creative Suite, and Fiery is a plus but we will train
