Location: Coraopolis, PA | Job Type: Full-Time | Pay: $25.00–$35.00/hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
Position Overview
Sabre Equipment Inc. is seeking a skilled 12-volt wiring technician to assemble and install electrical systems and accessories on commercial and emergency vehicles. You’ll perform clean, professional wiring work and component integration on a wide variety of vehicle platforms. If you're detail-oriented, hands-on, and experienced in 12V systems — we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Install and wire commercial vehicle accessories (liftgates, strobes, power inverters, etc.)
- Perform clean, organized 12V wiring and component integration
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues across a variety of vehicle types
- Install emergency lighting, control systems, and other 12-volt equipment
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
- Work independently and ensure high-quality, professional results
Qualifications
- Experience in 12-volt vehicle wiring — automotive, marine, RV, or upfitting
- Vocational training or equivalent on-the-job experience
- Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems and wiring fundamentals
- Ability to read and follow technical schematics and diagrams
- Mechanically inclined with basic knowledge of general installations
- Must provide own hand tools
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
