Spanish speaking and being 21 and over is must. Looking for someone who can handle being in a fast pace Mexican family restaurant/sports bar.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Clover POS or Toast POS
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures, including basic math calculations for bills and tips.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling, food safety, and sanitation protocols.
- Assist with food service duties during busy periods, including serving food at banquets or catering events.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management skills while keeping a positive attitude.
- Support the team busy lunch and dinner rush or sports events or special functions by providing attentive service in high-energy environments.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially Mexican or sit down restaurant settings.
- Experience with POS systems Toast or Clover
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper alcohol serving techniques is essential.
- Prior experience in catering or banquet environments enhances your ability to adapt quickly to different service styles.
- Strong communication skills coupled with a friendly demeanor help create welcoming atmospheres for guests from diverse backgrounds.
- A background in brewing or beverage preparation adds value to your role as a knowledgeable bartender capable of crafting signature drinks.
