Housekeeper
We are looking for a few good cleaners to join our team. Weekends are required until we have enough staff to start a rotation. We are looking to maintain our cleaning scores and times of 32 min per room and 2 rooms per hour or better. Weekday hours are 9am to 5pm and Sundays are 10am to 6pm or until the rooms are all cleaned. We are looking for cleaners who can also working in laundry when needed. When you clock in you are expected to work a 8 hours shift or until rooms are done or the manager ok your good to go for the day. Helping in laundry and other duties required
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas
- Make beds and change linens
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
Experience:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and best practices
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Skills:)
- Clean: Proficient in cleaning techniques for different surfaces and materials
- Customer service: Ability to provide excellent customer service to residents or guests
- Floor care: Knowledge of floor care techniques including mopping, waxing, and polishing
- Housekeeping management: Experience in managing housekeeping operations (if applicable)
- Hotel: Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards and procedures (if applicable)
- Custodial: Understanding of custodial duties and responsibilities (if applicable)
- Commercial cleaning: Experience in commercial cleaning settings (if applicable)
- Sanitate: Knowledge of proper sanitation practices to maintain cleanliness and hygiene
- Carpet cleaning: Familiarity with carpet cleaning techniques and equipment
