Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extensions, and pedicures with precision and care.
- Apply nail art using color theory principles to create customized designs that match client preferences.
- Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools, workstations, and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, recommend suitable treatments, and provide aftercare advice.
- Upsell retail products such as nail care items and skincare products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, techniques like dermabrasion or eyelash extensions, and new product offerings.
- Ensure a clean, organized workspace that complies with all health regulations while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology.
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of nail extensions, gel manicures, acrylic application, and nail care best practices.
- Familiarity with salon safety protocols including sanitation, disinfection procedures, and client hygiene standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their aesthetic goals.
- Knowledge of color theory for creating appealing nail art designs and customizations.
- Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
