SHOP FABRICATION POSITION - Joan of Arc Welding specializes in structural steel, custom rails, stairs and miscellaneous steel.
We are looking for fabricators with different levels of experience to join our team. If you can read blueprints, lay out, fabricate and weld we would be interested to hear from you. If you can build parts or drive a forklift and load trucks or if you can run a saw cut material we would like to chat. Pay will be dependent on experience.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in MIG welding with a minimum of 2 years experience
- We are looking for a self- starter with a good attitude. A welder who takes great pride in his/her work
- Ability to lift, push and pull objects in excess of 50 pounds
- Ability to read drawings or willing to learn
- General knowledge of how tools operate
- Ability to work without supervision
- Problem solver
General Responsibilities:
- Get to work and be ready to work on time and be fully alert
- Fabricate projects from drawings and/or verbal instructions
- Detail projects that show an eye for quality
- Meet or exceed project timeframe
- Read a tape measure
- Cut accurately
- Drive a forklift safely
40 hours a week with occasional overtime, 4 day work week 10hr shifts. Hourly rate is dependent upon experience. Holiday pay and performance reviews also offered.
