We’re growing and seeking a full-time Property Inspector to help us perform regularly scheduled property/unit/move out inspections. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, friendly, professional, and able to troubleshoot, with strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure. Attention to detail is a must.
Job responsibilities include:
- Perform regular inspections of managed properties, follow-up on issues needing attention, and produce/present property owners with an annual condition and status report. Coordinate with front offices on data from their areas of operation. Coordinate with Maintenance Manager.
- Generate letters, memos, mailing as requested by management for larger project bids.
- Perform tenant move out/move-in inspections and follow-up. Written and photo.
- Familiarity with solid office procedures and following a daily/weekly/monthly business cycle.
- Experience with Word and Excel very helpful. We use proprietary software, but computer literacy is a must (will train on proprietary software).
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, written and oral.
- Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely & responsible manner.
- Solid work ethic and desire to be part of a team.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Reports to Maintenance Manager but also works with Branch Manager.
Reliable transportation is required. Possible travel throughout Western Montana. High School diploma required. 3+ years’ experience in Maintenance or Business with progressive responsibility. Wage is $18.00/hour. 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, M-F work week. Must be able to take emergency calls after hours periodically. EO/AAF employer. Attire is office casual.
