OUR COMPANY:
We are a small family run and operated business that was founded in 1991. We are an online uniform and clothing distributor that represents multiple clothing brands—including but not limited to Dickies, Carhartt, Nike and Red Kap—along with 45+ others. We also offer clothing decoration using direct embroidery and screen printing.
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking to fill a position in our customer service department. You will be dealing directly with our customers taking orders, checking on order status, and answering general product questions.
Daily tasks include:
- General customer service
- Comfortable and confident with answering incoming phone calls
- Reply to emails from existing and/or future customers
- Utilizing manufacturer catalogs and databases to find products for customers
- Checking on order status
- Returns/Exchanges
- Enter orders from Phone/Email
- No cold calling
- No commission based pay
Additional tasks not specific to customer service:
- Writing up embroidery forms for decoration orders
- Shipping out-going orders
- Miscellaneous data entry
REQUIREMENTS:
- Communication skills to effectively relate information to coworkers
- Able to multitask with computer programs while on calls
- Self starter - ability to be self-sufficient and non-complacent
- Typing skills - at least 50 wpm
- Interpersonal skills
- Dedicated to customer service
- Proficient in using a Windows-based computer
- People-oriented
- Self-motivated
