Assembler
Our manufacturing client is now hiring an Assembler at their Dover, NH facility. You’ll work as part of a team to assemble heat exchanger and related units and subassemblies.
Responsibilities of the Assembler
- Assemble, test, and package fabricated parts
- Read and interpret bills of material, drawings, engineering specifications, and quality control documents
- Ensure work meets tolerances and product specifications
- Maintain documentation
- Follow all health and safety protocols
- Assist engineers with prototypes, new products, operations, and/or procedures
- Support team members and other departments to complete tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications of the Assembler
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to clearly communicate with engineering, technical support, sales, and management
- Basic understanding of products and equipment used in manufacturing
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Able to bend, sit, stand for extended periods of time, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to operate basic material handling equipment; fork truck certification a plus
The Assembler works Monday through Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm. Pay depends on experience, ranging from $20-$25/hour.
