Currently seeking: Dietary Aide/ Dishwasher
Edgewater Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide / Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Dietary Aide/Dishwasher to support our food service operations. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, assisting with meal service, and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and guests.
This position will be open for a minimum of 3 days and will remain open until a top candidate is identified.

Pay: $18.50 per hour
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous dietary, food service, or dishwasher experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using dishwashers
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, including floors, counters, and equipment
- Assist with tray setup
- Deliver meals and snacks to designated areas or residents as needed
- Properly store clean dishes and kitchen equipment
- Take out trash and recycling, ensuring waste is disposed of properly
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards (including health department regulations)
- Assist in receiving and stocking food and supply deliveries
- Support kitchen staff with general tasks to ensure efficient meal service
- Report any safety or maintenance issues promptly
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including infection control practices
